Should be proud of yourself, John. Had good size, symmetry, definition and color. Bodes well for next year. Way to go!

You look great John-fantastic effort first up show!!! Some of those guys looked plain fat next to you!! I only have a couple of posing tips-on your front double bicep you are lifting your shoulders and traps up, which minimises your lats so try and keep them down a bit more! Second on your lat shot your are squeezing the shoulder blades together instead of pulling them apart-when your bring your arms into the flexed position, really pull your shoulder blades apart at the same time, you may need to rotate your elbows forward slightly to do this....

If you go to the site, You will see them listed in categories. For example: Master's, Novice, Open classes.
If you go into the Master's first. I am the very first one you will see. My number is 36. Go into the novice and I am in the light heavyweight section. Open, same thing.

Got it!
Awesome job!
The only realy critique I can give is that to kick up to the next level work on your conditioning. In all the shows I've done that is what seems to separate the very top guys from everybody else. Work on getting ultra-shredded. Having said that, you did a pretty damn good job in that department for your first show. I was going to add to also work on leg definition, but in the double bi pic with your trophy it looks like you're really hitting the legs and they look awesome; it may just be the timing of the other pics where you're not completely flexed. Back double bi shot looks great. More conditioning will bring out the glutes and hams better; again that's an area I think the judges look at to separate the top guys (in the INBF show I did last week I heard the guy who won the overall did so by the margin of better hamstrings). Overall, absolutely tremendous job!

Bob,
Thanks buddy. I have that in my pre plan for next year. Much more conditioning in the pre contest phase. My legs during the evening show had began to smooth a little. During pre judging, I did not have to even flex them hardly for them to show. I don't know what happended.

Massiv, You looked AWESOME!!! Job well done!!!! Great physique and symmetry!!! I echo what two other guys said: 1) SMILE!!!! 2)What Bob said is 100% accurate! At my husband's show....he looked GREAT and bigger than quite a few of the guys but it came down to conditioning and being ripped!!!! Otherwise GREAT JOB!!!! We are all proud of you!!!!! #bbravosmiley8hh#

Ladies, now you are making me blush. I have some idea's on next season on the conditioning front. We will come in so dang conditioned it will make your head spin. I did not really get in to the conditioning aspect that much this time around. I only did about 4 weeks of high reps and sets with less rest between sets. The next two are about a month apart, so I am starting diet and full blown precontest training 12 weeks out from the first and 16 from the second.
