Thanks Tim! He was one of the best. How can you respect the Olympia when Shawn never won?

I know you prefer the gym pictures where he is massive and vascular. He looks huge in those gym photos! I like the shape and seperation of his muscles and the way the muscles flow together but maybe he was not freaky enough or tall enough on stage. I have no idea. I am going totally by visual appeal. Thanks for the pictures Tim!

Tim...
No question...he's one of my All-Time favorites...and one of the Legends of the Sport...
I'll never forget Tim Brown (his early mentor) saying that he had NEVER seen anyone respond to training in the way Shawn did...(and Tim had been around Bodybuilding all his Life...)
He also said that he had never seen anyone so young with so much motivation, hunger and desire...

Okay...subjective question...
Wasn't the pic you posted above, in the orange trunks, supposed to be Shawn's "best" Olympia ever? (Or is at least one of the two or three that many felt he should have won?)
Just curious...

Mufasa,I think you`re reffering to John Brown, who was also a mentor to Flex wheeler, and Melvin anthony as well.Brown won the NABBA Mr. Universe and was known for his innovative posing style.
I`m not sure about the above pic, but I will inquire, as I got it from a friend on another board.
On a sidenote, John Brown is coaching Jeff McFarland `s posing, beleive it or not.
I will say that Shawn,in my opinion, should have been Mr. O at least one time minimum.

JOHN Brown!
(Thanks, Tim!)
Yeah...people will usually argue AT LEAST one....and sometimes 2-3 Olympia's that should have been Shawn's...and they usually will site which ones...
