You still look as though you had a good wo!!! I think it is great you do dips!!! I cannot do those at all! ;D Are you tired due to the fibromyalgia? We treat pt's diagnosed with that where I work. Are you on medication for it or do you treat it non-medical? Meditation is very helpful as well as massage treatments. Another good thing to help is a whirlpool/hot tub. I understand the going out thing. I sort of went through a phase not too long ago nd now I rarely drink, just no point to me to get plastered. Stick to your guns if you really do not want to be in that environment. That is nice your x is going to have the kids.

Stick to your guns if you really do not want to be in that environment. That is nice your x is going to have the kids. I'm not one who likes to take meds so I treat it non-medically. Massages are nice but as a single mom money just isn't there. My youngest boy is so sweet (at times). When he sees that I'm in a lot of pain, he takes me by the hand and makes me lie down so he can rub my back. He's no expert, but even his attempts feel good. Stress plays a big part and work has been really bad lately to the point that my sleep is being affected. If I don't get enough sleep I'm tired and don't eat properly. All of this leads to pain, pain and more pain and the cycle continues. I'm going to go try and eat something then go to bed. Hopefully I will wake up feeling better. Tomorrow is legs ;D

My fibromyalgia patients say the exact same thing about the stress!!! I hope your work outs help you de-stress a bit! Do you think lifting makes a difference with your pain? I have one Patient who swears by kick boxing for her fibromyalgia! ;D
Have a great leg wo!!!!! ;D

Before my car accident I did high intensity step classes but now have to avoid anything with high impact. It's frustrating cause I really like the cardio and find walking very boring. I have to put the treadmill on 10-15 incline and 4.5-5 speed to satisfy my needs.

Thanks everyone Well we made a few changes to my diet, increased my carbs on workout days, so hopefully that will help out a bit. Now if I can only focus on eating properly when I'm at work and make sure I get all my meals in maybe I will have more energy this week.

I am living proof that increasing your carbs...especially on your WO days will be VERY beneficial!!!!! Your wo's will more than likely be stronger!!!! ;D Plus by getting in your meals that will make a difference in addition to the increased carbs! Do you take your food with you to work? I make all of my BB food the night before, right when I am making the kids dinner or after they go to bed and then it is all done!

I think we all struggle to get our eating right on the dot,my problem is weekends, its like a big free-for-all if I'm not careful... Great on increasing the carbs-its a shame that so many women and bodybuilders have become so carb phobic

Oh I'm not carb phobic, It's just I have a lot of intolerance to foods so getting carbs in is really hard. Dairy and wheat are very hard for me to digest and cause great pain and bloating so I try to stay away from anything with them in it. That means my carbs come from oatmeal, rice and rice pasta and the odd sweet potato (not too keen on them). I know there is other stuff out there but I just dont have time to look into it and experiment. I'm actually carb cycling right now so most of my work out days are high carb, we just had to fine tune it a bit to try to make sure I was getting them all in. I do take all my meals to work, or anywhere I go. I make up a big pot of rice and pasta at the beginning of the week to make it easier. It's funny cause all the security staff tease me cause I walk into work with this great big gym bag and no one believes it's my lunch

I hate the NO days. How is the carb cycling working for you? I have been doing a pretty low carb thing all summer and leaned out a little. I started add a bit more carbs into meals as per Beckie's suggestion. I feel sooo full, I have to force down the food, but I will get used to it again.

Todays work out. Still having a problem with energy so not so happy with wo today. Struggled big time with the pull ups today It's one of the problems with having to work out in the morning. I come off of a low or no carb day and don't have a chance to reload before hitting the gym. I've added bananas to my prework shake but I didn't get any extra kick from it today. 5 min warm up on treadmill Pull Ups 24@bw (40sec rest) Deadlifts 12@95,12@100x2 Barbell Rows 12@55x3 Neutral Grip Pulldowns 12@80x2 Barbell Curls 4@45x6,5@50 Preacher Curls (e-z bar) 10@30x3 Knee Ins with ball/Reverse Curl with ball/Crunches/Bridge 20X3 each/1 min bridges 20 min cardio on elliptical

You are still doing great despite coming off a low/no carb day-personally I wouldn't even be able to get out of bed with that level!
Can you eat squash? what types of rice are you eating?
