When I was a kid I remember doing presses behind the neck, while seated on the floor, with the upper part of the back braced by a stationary bench, that was bolted into the floor.I really felt them this way, but had forgotten about them over the years, until I received an E-Book from my friend Dennis Weis, that I saw them listed in.I am going to try these again soon. These things were great. Has anybody else tried these?

I never have but they would certainly be a stricter motion than regular seated. With seated presses one tends to use one's legs when straining.

Hmmm, I'd be careful. Don't put your legs out straight as that could put extra strain on the back. I'd have to see a pic of how it's done before being willing to try myself. Can you post one?

I don`t have access to a pic ,but I did keep my knees bent and feet were pressed against a wall.I didn`t push with the legs but I felt kind of locked in place. It just felt really stable and I could handle good weight with it.I`m going to try them again and see if I still feel the same way about them.
