I have to say , this movement isn't a "great" movement.
It uses too much chest/tricep in the movement when you go heavy or when your back is already exhausted from the punishing rows.
The only time i see myself ever using this movement again is as a preexhaust or during a super, tri, giantset.

I use it as a burn out exercise to really hammer the tricep-lat insertions-Usually i do 4 sets of 15 as a finishing exercise

It`s not meant to be a power exercise.
Use it to finish off, or for pre-exhausting the lats.

I see SO many people doing this exercise, but I ONLY feel it in my triceps..very little lat. So I kinda avoid it.
What am I doing wrong?

A fabulous mind-muscle connection is required to perfrom this exercise… if not, I agree that we tend to feel it more in the Triceps. So the objective is to focus on the back work and keep the triceps almost not contracted… which is not obvious if the weight we use is very heavy (under 6 reps)
One thing is for sure, I would never include it in my routine when my Triceps are still sore from the previous workout!

What I've done to make it hit my lats more is bend kinda at the wait and stick out my chest when the bar is ext downward and thus putting alot of emphasis on my lats. I love doing it and Eric has me doing it alot. I don't us much weight as form matters.
