Because of some knee tendonitis, brought I think by the cybex leg squat (press) I had been using, as it is the only plate loading model in the gym I work at, I recently switched to using the Nautilus Nitro leg press- and leg extensionl neither of which hurt my knee, and instead of doing my usual squat warm up of 1.35 315 405 all for several reps to warmup the lower back, I do one full range high rep set the my heavy set to failuire. Today, I went up 5 reps today on the high rep set and got 315 for 25 full range reps! I was down a rep on my following heavy set getting 9 reps with 505, but considering what mU had just done l was ok with that.

Oh yes and legs were a bit dead prior as mU had walked around the Phoenix zoo yesterday for over ah hour in 100 @ heat, had thanks to airline mechanical problems and messups a 1 hour 15 min trip home tieben into a 6 hour ordeal.

Thanks all! Got 28 today, but was sucking wind after, lol. Did 515 for 8 parallel reps after a SiGNiFICANT rest. Ha fun stuff though. Hopefully my quads will be improved. Oh yes, I do my squats after a superset of leg ext and leg presses on the Nautillus nitro machines. Today I did them one leg style with forced reps and negs. Followed the squats with leg curls in a similiar manner, 2 sets, got up and was having trouble walking, lol. Thanks again for the kudos!

Awesome numbers James...you should start a training journal in the journals section.
I`m sure it would be interesting to everyone here, and I`m sure it would motivate you as well as other members.
