What are your thoughts on this routine? I got it from a rugby website. It has been working well for me so far and I am getting really good gains. My main question is... Is benching/squats/deads 2x a week too much???
Thanks for any input and I am also open to alterations.

i only see deadlifts once but if you say its working well for you, then you must be responding to it, so KEEP IT UP!

I sorta count cleans as deads because it's a similar movement.

There was a time when doing squats, deads and benches were done 3 times per week.
Deadlifting heavy 2 times per week would wipe out alot of people. I know it would me.
I think it is good that you deadlift once per week and do power cleans on the other day. You may want to even do clean grip high pulls from time to time instead of PC's.
For squats, you can do a heavy session and a lighter session. same goes for bench.
You did not post your sets and reps but you may want to keep the reps higher 8-20 for your auxillary exercises.

I agree with Grant-doing deads more than once a week may lead to injury longterm because the tissue doesn't have enough time to recover. This looks like a well thought out program with a mixture of everything!! #thumbsupsmileyanim9lp#
