Chris, funny you brought this up. I just got back into doing Yoga last Sunday. I used to do it at least 2 times a week. Stopped for 1 1/2 to 2 years. I am a lot more flexible have less pain in shoulder, hamstrings and other areas when I am doing Yoga. I highly recommend it. Some bodybuilders make fun of it usually one who have never tried it.

There's been talk about how Yoga may cause body to easily injure during heavy lifting.
I don't believe it. I think Yoga can be good.

I took a class last year of "moderately intense" yoga.
While I liked the relaxation and flexibility, there were nights where I found the yoga very difficult or painful to maintain some of the tougher poses as I had either just exhausted that bodypart the previous day lifting or DOMS were bad enough that it was tough to hold for long.
I struggled to time my lifting around the class so I wasn't hindering one or the other too much.

I have personally never tried it, but know many who have and said it really helped them. GO FOR IT!
