A baked potato or two would be better than the fruit...fruit just relplaces glycogen in the liver for the most part and not the muscles.
The shake and honey is fine........honey is pre-digested so it`ll spike insulin very quickly..............mix shake in water only.

Interesting, I didn't realize that a heavy carb like potatoe would be ideal. I was always under the impression that fruits were better.
Thanks.

No problem. .........starchy carbs are always better at post-workout.

I prefer very high glycemic carbs immediately after a workout. The main goal is to replace muscle glycogen as quick as possible.

I echo what Tim and Eric have said. Fruit isn't the best PW carb. If you want to get anal, something like waxy maize is the best PW carb. As far as whole foods...I love white rice, white potatoes, bagels with jelly, or even Gatorade. Honey is great too!!! Keep that one!
As for protein...egg white is fine, but to be anal you should use whey. Preferable whey isolate or Hydrolyzed is even better. ABB has put out a Hydrolyzed Whey Protein called Whey Force which is 21g of the fastest absorbed whey protein.

It depends of your objective (want to cut? Gain mass? Gain endurance? etc), your daily diet (2000 cals or 6000 cal?) and yous starts (160 lbs or 250 lbs?).
Can you elaborate?
