I will try to keep this short. I am a truck driver and I am inactive for most of the time during work. As of now I work during the night. Usally 8pm til 10 am. Earlier this year I tried to cut for a show and failed because my way did not work like it had when I competed a few yrs ago. I get 5 hrs of sleep a day on a good day. At this time that is the most I can get due to life in general. At the moment I am experimenting with the Anabolic diet written by Jonathon Doss, which is high protein high fat, and the fat is not nessicarily(sp) good fats, mon-fri on the weekends a person carb loads with min. protein and low fat. What do you all think of this? I will take all suggestions, because I am at a loss on what to do, because I really miss the stage.

I do my best to get the meals in I can't say I eat every 2 hrs while I am driving but I never go past 4. From what I read he stated you don't have to worry about the time frame on when to eat. I am in my second week and I can see a slight difference but a couple of more weeks and I will know more

That sounds like it suits your lifestyle quite well then so if you are seeing results then I would stick with it. Are you noticing strength increases with it? What supps do you use currently?

I did not notice any strength gains nor weakness. My energy level does not seem to be effected. I find it fairly simple to follow which was the biggest suprise. I was dissapointed when I carb loaded all weekend I did not get the affect I thought. I felt lethargic and didnt feel satisfied at all. As for sups I only use whey protein. I have used redline in the past when I got ready for my last show in 2004.

I think this method can be effective... but what you need to know is "how many calories should you eat to lose fat"? From this point, the big picture could be to eat something like 1,5-2,0 g of protein per bodyweight pounds and adjust the rest of your calories (carbs and fat) depending of your needs. In addition to this, make sure you eat plenty of vegetables (as much as you want)... and allow you a cheat meal every 4-5 days... iI believe it would be a good begening!
Good luck!

I checked my BF last nite and without cardio I lost 3 percent. I use digital calipers to check not the most accurate but a good guide I suppose. I am happy with this in 2 weeks.
