In case you haven't noticed, since Bodybuilding.com was bought recently, they've lowered many of their prices, especially, it seems, protein.
I went to order my usual blend from True Protein this morning and was staring at 5lbs for $62 and thinking... ow. I love supporting Dante and the gang but the recent protein price increases plus TP now charging $10 for shipping makes it painful.
I ended up getting a similar 3-protein blend from Scivation, $5lb at $38. Which is a few bucks cheaper than it used to be.
Just FYI.

I am using TP... Prices are getting high, but quality is there.

Agreed- but there are a few protein suppliers for whom quality is also excellent. 10-15% I can handle but when it gets to be more like 30-40% it's tough.

Protein prices are ridiculous lately! I've been using Nytro Whey from Prosource and I'm about out. Time to get some more!

The reason prices have gone so high is that global demand for whey has pushed up the international export prices. The US and Canada buy alot of New Zealand whey(we are the 4th biggest exporter in the world) and the increased demand has pushed the price up. I personally can't have WPC so I save my $$ for WPI-there is a protein finder tool on the bb.com website that I recommend for my clients and they usually find something they like at a price they can afford

If this is the case, you are better off going with something else. I believe the EAS whey contains whey concentrate. Not nearly as good as pur Isolates.. Actually, in studies by doctors using athletes and those that weight train, they found it is not so much the type of protein as long as you're ingesting ENOUGH protein. In other words, if you consume 1.5g/lb of bodyweight in protein, it doesn't really matter if you have isolates, concentrate, whey, casein or pig testicles.

My issue with Concentrates is digestion

What a minute I think I used something like that back in the eighty's! Remember those glandular supplements? Oh yeah, I've been ordering cold filtered wpi from TP. I recommend the banna's and cream premium flavor, yum! Thanks for reminding me Randy!
