Troy ..i did what you did..put whites in first..and then oatmeal. But are you sure HIGH...cause thats what i used too....and the oatmeal on the first touch of high..went straight up to the cap and got stuck .. Maybe i should do a Slow mix.....for 3min and see how it goes. "The Galloping Gourmet" !! ;D

Hey troy ..you think grinding the oats in a Coffee grinder..and adding it to a shaker cup along with eggwhites will work too?
My blender broke!!!

You guys ever try putting some cottage cheese in these pancakes? It thickens the mix up a little ;D

Yea i've seen a recipe with eggs takened out for Cottage cheese.
Though i prefer eggs better....i love eating these after my shake...the protein pancake is great...just hate the fact it gets stuck in my blender...some of the oats..I think i'm going to try spraying pam in the blender before i put whites or oats in.

no i meant instead of like 10 egg whites...people put 4 egg whites...1yolk..and like 1/2 cup of cottage cheese..hehe ;D Of course you need eggs to make the pancake.

Hey guys, I've never tried that but it's a great idea. In the off-season I use a bananna and a couple whole eggs. During dieting, we don't eat fruit but I throw in about 1/4 pkg of diet jello. Doesn't thicken it but adds precisious flavor.
Also, Ive been told a scoop of protein powder thickens it up really nicely.
That's what so cool about the pancakes is you can adjust them to whatever your needs on any diet.
Keep the ideas comin' ;D

Well max6 don't take any egg out just add a 1/2 cup or 1 full cup of cottage cheese to the 10 eggs. It just boost your protein up with no added fat(fat free cottage cheese of course).
Troyster wanted to thank you for the pancake mix, i use to eat this about 3 or 4 years ago and had forgot all about it.
I've been spreading sugar free jelly on these pancakes. ;D

LMAO, it's funny cause we "cleaned house" last summer and dragged an old waffle iron out of the basement... we laughed and said, "OHHHHHHHHhhhh, we'll NEVER use this thing, we don't even eat waffles!!". HAHA, so we threw it out.
Now we're scouring garage sales to try to find one again!!
So... once I find an iron, I'll work on the recipe. It does need a bit of modification, I'm sure.

What I'm saying is, I think instead of recreating the thread, you should have a link to THIS thread. They don't have to sign up to view the thread.
Also, I'd never suggest to anyone that they spray the inside of their blender with oil.
