No, a fellow by the name of Eric Broser told me about it. I've always really been into cooking and just like to work with things. I love to take the most disgustingly fatty things and make them low fat yet still taste good. It's an obsession. My wife doesn't mind as I do all the cooking ;D
Eric writes is a freelance, natural bodybuilder (and a massive one, I might add) who's articles have appeared in Muscle Mag and Ironman. He also writes online artilces. All related to bodybuilding. I met him on a chat board and his alias is Gopro. I call them Gopro pancakes.

Its funny...i tried davinci pancake syrup..it looks like liquid watery like Torani syrups.....then when i read the label to put in frige after opening...i poured it onto my pancakes and it isn't that watery at all..i'm going to try Banana syrup tomorrow morning..see if it is thick. Then i'm going to throw all my syrups in the fridge and see if the same thing happens.. ;D
The maple flavor wasn't as strong as i remembered..but you can't complain being able to eat Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes topped with bananas. ;D
I read this recipe at first on bodybuilding.com...but never knew in detail how to make it..... Thanks Troy for your pics and showing us that it REALLY WORKS!! ;D
Now about that Power Muffin.....

Yeah, he's prepping for a show but just said that some personal problems were resulting in A LOT of what he called "stress loss"... got the impression he was talking relationship problems.
I don't know him personally well enough to be of much assistance but it's got to be tough as he's been working at this next show for a couple of years, as I understand it. Everyone, of course, offered their best wishes. I hope he can keep on track.

That sucks!!
Trouble in a relationship is one thing no one needs while prepping for a show.
I`ll stop by his board and see what`s up with him.
Thanks!!

Hey troy..i wanted to try some blueberries in the pancakes...(never had blueberries before in my life)
I saw on the food channel..they push the little berries on top of the pancake....
When they served it ...there are delicious little blue dots all over the cakes.
I was wondering how they do that? Do they just put it on top while it is frying on the pan..then flip it..?? Or do they PUSH IT in..while it is still cooking on one side?

That's a good question Max. I've tried a few different methods and here's what I discovered (assuming you're making the eggwhite/oats pancakes): - if you throw them in the blender with the eggwhites and oats, they get all chewed up into chunks (although if they're small this works OK) and I was displeased with the result. - Just throwing them on top works fine, but it can be nice to have them right IN the pancakes. - My suggestion is if they are large blueberries, just throw them on top. If they're small, add them in the blender once blending is done (but don't blend)... so as you pour the batter out, they're getting into each pancakce. The best is to do both... throw some in the batter and after they're cooked, put some on top... mmmmmmmmmmmm ;D def'n-licious T

darn..i tried it this morning....
while it was on my fry pan...i dropped it right on top..and when i flip it..all the blueberries fell right off..along with some of the batter...It messed the cake up a bit... ;D
It didn't look too pretty.
I wonder..maybe i over blended the batter....cause whenever i flip it..the cake starts the tear......You think i overblended it? cause i usually just keep blending until the fry pan is all hot.
Anyway..blueberries tasted just like strawberries really..except they're easier to eat...and i like the bleeding of the blue color on the pancake..just like fruit jam. I toped it off with Caramel, and German Chocolate cake syrup. ;D Plus half of the banana that i didn't throw into the blender.
I found out that..if I don't put a bit of banana into the blender...the pancake comes out all WHITE..and not BROWN like REAL pancakes. I think its the natural sugar.

Max, LOL, I mentioned adding bananas waaaaaay back in this thread.
As for adding the blueberries on top, LMAO, I meant while the pancake was ON YOUR PLATE, just before you eat it ;D

hehe....Well..i tried it this morning again...and i did it..
I made my pancakes a bit smaller though...which makes them easier to flip... I made 3 small cakes..piled on top..with blue berries in the cakes...topped with extra blue berries. syrup. and banana. ;D
Its the most beautiful thing i've cooked up yet.

hehe...Troy..you can do better than that!...come on ..you cook up so many good stuff..(muffins, pancakes, homemade sauses, etc) and you're stuck eating corn , rice, and chicken breasts?
I'm eating a Good 6oz steak diced up...on top of a large salad..toped with calorie free buttermilk dressing..hehe.
As for lunch at school today..i had Curried Rice/chicken and broccoli..hehe.
Man....i never thought i would love blueberries..hmm..wonder what other fruit i can use...if i put strawberries on..it would be RED , WHITE, and BLUE hehe..
I also made some homemade BBQ sause of my own. I used sugarfree pancake maple syrup..mixed it up with some cayenne , curry, red chilli flakes, and other spices. I saw it on the food channel when bobby flay was doing it with real maple syrup..gave it a try..man!! it was good.
But i wasted too much syrups on bbq sause..save it for pancakes. I use spice rubs instead when it comes to meats.
