WALNUTTY SALAD:
Ingredients:
2 cups Red Leaf Lettuce (washed & cut into salad-size pieces)
1 Large Carrot (grated)
1/8th Head of Red Cabbage (shredded fine)
1 Green Onion (chopped)
6 Raw Walnut Halves
1 oz. Grated Low-Fat Cheese (optional)
1 Small Red Tomato (chopped)
Preparation:
Place lettuce in a bowl then top in the following order: cabbage, carrots, green onion, tomato, cheese and walnuts.
Dress lightly with a few sprinkles of Balsamic vinegar and dig in!
This one is a real palate pleaser!
