Held in New Haven, CT on 4/17. Mike Katz did a good job promoting and organizing.
Major surprise and disappointment at low competitor turnout for a national show. In bodybuilding, only 29 men and 11 women. It is a bit early in the year, and many competitors are not in diet mode in January.
Results I have (not sure of spellings)
Bantam Gabriel Fuentes (only one in the class) Light Mark Juliani (ony two in this class) Middle Nick Shelby (think runner up Guillermo Escalante has a future) Light heavy David Madeiros (most competitive class, my pal and client Thomas Whorley was a close 2nd, and Chris Caudy (3rd) and Tyson Palardy (4th) looked great. Think Tyson should have placed higher). Heavy and Overall Elbert Lydell (hope spelling is close, and came as a surprise to me) Super heavy James Bivens (very good competitor)
As always, Gunter did a great guest posing job.

Thanks for the great report Gerry. Much appreciated.
I did a couple of show`s with Tyson Palardy and after many years off he comes back last year and is really forging his way up the ladder

Tyson was very impressive and wanted to see him higher. But he was complete and should be proud of his great condition. That made him a winner to me.

Looking good there, Tim. Tyson is very good and Ben won overall NABBA Nationals last month. Thanks, NA, for the photos of Tyson.
This is a top class masters age lineup, and all look good at any age. Tim, who spread the rumor that you were old, buddy? ;D
By the way, Jr USA vids are available at Repetrope.com. I ordered evening show, prejudge and backstage. Look forward to seeing these guys in action again.

Gerry, you`re too knid my friend..........thanks !! There were only the 3 of us in this class and I got 3rd. place but I didn`t feel I lokked too bad against these national level guy`s so I wasn`t disappointed that`s for sure. Both of these guy`s have gone on to do pretty well and I`m hoping I can do the same next year. Time will tell.
