Got some info on this. This show will replace the Night of Champions. There was some legality with Wayne Demilia owning the rights to the NOC name, so it had to be changed. It remains a qualifier for Mr and Ms Olympia and will be held May 21, 2005 at Tribeca Arts Center in lower Manhattan. Steve Weinberger is promoting and a ticket order form can be printed from www.bevfrancis.comThe venue is nice but not as big as City Center where it had been held. So suggest getting tickets early for prejudge and evening show. For more info can contact Bev Francis Golds Gym at 516-933-1111. Also, there will be a NY Pro Fitness on March 19 held in conjunction with Metropolitans NQ, and a NY Pro Figure in August held with Team U and Figure Nationals. These are qualifiers for the Fitness and Figure Olympias. Can call or check online for info. Think the Pro Figure is the event forum member Jennifer Searles plans to compete in. Reason enough to go! ;D

Sucks that they changed the name, Night of Champions always sounded so cool.

Feel the same way as you guys. But DeMilia ruined last year's show, so it might be a good thing to start over. Too bad they couldn't use Evening of Champions.
Whatever the name, should be a top show. Glad that Bev and Steve can keep it going.

Ny Pro was interesting show. Good seats, but lighting could have been better. Some photos did not do the competitors justice.
First, the highlight was finally meeting and speaking with Jennifer Searles. A beautiful, gracious and sweet lady who could well win Figure O some day. Look forward to seing her on stage in August in NY Pro Figure.
Results: Winner was Darrem Charles, folowed by Ahmad Haidar, Victor Martinez, Craig Richardson and Capriese Murray 2nd thru 5th in that order. Heard that Chris Cook was 6th and Luke Wood was 7th. Not sure of other places. Among top 15 were Bob Cicherillo, George Farah and Jason Arntz.
Much as I like Victor, think he got a gift this time, as several behind him were in better condition. Luke Wood was shafted. Outstanding lower back and hams. he did his homework. Top 5 qualified for the O, so Capriese did it on his first try.
Notable was that there were two blind competitors and they both looked terrific. Greg Rando had great shape and good condition and Ricky Welling fro the UK was big and hard. Both inspirational.
Bev and Steve had a good first NY Pro. 32 competitors and it went pretty well. Great to see other pros in attendacne like Chris Cormier, Dexter jackson and Kevin Levrone.
Women's results in Women's section.

I saw some pics on flexonline.com and the lighting looked HORRIBLE! The pics looked aweful. From what I've seen some of the guys looked horrible. Darrem had more size, but he lost his appealing look to me. His waist got too blocky and when did he get gyno? He looked AMAZING in some shots. His back is def thicker and wider! His Hammies looked great from the side and his Ab and Thigh looked phenomenal. How was his conditioning in person? Jimmy Canyon - Ruined his look. Last pic I saw of Jimmy was when he turned pro and he looked freaking ridiculously AWESOME! The look I want! I think he ruined his look and again w/ the gyno. CHris Cook's Hamstrings looke FREAKING AWESOME!!!!! If he could have matched quad conditioning w/ hammy conditioning, his legs could have possibly been the best. I hope he slowly puts on size so his waist doesn't blow up. If he does, he can do some major damage! Haidar looked good and finally got some due! He had good thigh separation, but no straitions. Will Harris looked good from teh front! Great showing for his 1st pro show! It was nice to see Jeff Long competing again! I used to love his physique! Victor's Arms looked a lil lumpy didn't they? Might just be me. I love Victor's build! He's got an amazing body. His back looked ridiculous. Can you say CAPRICE MURRAY! OMG he looked freaking AWESOME! Better than Victor if you ask me (okay not his back). His conditioning was just amazing. And for a pro debut, ARE KIDDING ME? !!! Craig Richardson looked good! He looked real good. Jason Arntz looked amazing! I hope he's back for good. He was hard and GRAINY but his abs looke kind of wierd. To me, Arntz should have been MUCH MUCH higher and Caprice could have been number 2. But that's me. What's everyone elses take?

I agree with Gerry, Jennifer looked beautiful as always....and it was cool to put a face to a screen name meeting Gerry! very knowledgable guy in regards to bodybuilding
I really like the Tribeca venue, I wish I could compete on a stage like that, the only other pro show ive attended was the Arnold and I had to watch the big screen to see anything...
I thought Haidar should have won, Bautista is absolutely jaw dropping up close but im glad they are not rewarding that freakiness, Martinez was given a gift of third place his conditioning was not where it needed to be,, Capriese was very impressive, especially his first pro show...i thought Onder (the guy from Turkey) looked great, i met him at the arnold and the guy is so humble i was so happy to see him do well...11th place...
very good time! quality of competitors could have been better, but LOL who i am to talk

Great meeting you also, AR. Lighting was not good and actually many of the competitors looked better than their pictures.
Happy for Capriese, as he made a terrific pro debut. Chris Cook can be top five in the O if ever puts it all together. He has huge potential and not even 29 yet!
Craig Richardson looked as good as I've ever seen him. Also think Arntz should have been higher.
