Okay, the NPC sight is frustrating the HELL out of me! For a while I looked and found some shows. Then ond day, a bunch of those shows weren't on there. Now more are added, but some others taken off and the originals not re-added. I woudl REALLY like to compete lat summer because I have 5 weddings betwen the end of August and Middle of October. I want to compete one more time before all those weddings.
I know of some shows that ARE DEFINITE goes in Sept and Oct that arent' even listed. I mean, I want to diet for 16 weeks, how can I do that if shows aren't put on in time? Does anyone know of any other web sites where I can find some competititions? I"m desparate.

You can always look in the back of the magazines........MuscleMag is good for listing a lot of contests, but all will not be listed.
Look into finding out who the NPC chairman is for your state, and send him an e-mail.
Also,if you contact the NPC headquarters in Pittsburg, they`ll send you a list of upcoming shows.
The number should be on their website.

Can try contacting Gary Udit and check out his website, www.garyudit.com. He's based in Pittsburgh and knows what's going on. Tell him Gerry sent you! ;D The NPC chair for your state or district is listed somewhere on the NPC site. Not sure which section.

hey man how you been? some good shows to do are:
9/10 Tri State in Erie Pa.
9/17 Ohio State Bodybuilding Championships in Columbus.
and now this show is usually unorganized but a lot of competitors do it
10/1 Natural Northern in Lakewood Oh.
These are long running shows and are always at the same place each year. GOOD LUCK! I am sure I will see you at one of them this year. I am doing the Mike Francois Classic May 14th. 2 weeks away. It is in Westerville near Columbus.

Carl, I just saw your post! haha. I have gone to teh Ohio State BB Championships 3 years in a row now, but I'm IN A WEDDING that day. I'm so mad. That's like my favoirte show to go to as it's my goal to one day win the middle weight crown! Might be hard doing that w/ all the "SUPPLMENTATION" going on at that show! hahaha I'm at least watching teh Nat Northern. I've been trying to make it up to taht one for 3 years now and haven't been able to. The guy that helps me w/ posing placed 2nd in that a few years ago.
I've been great man and you?

Coaching is great by the way. It's baseball and that's my first love. Baseball is what led me to bodybuilding and it's still my lifelong goal to make it to professional baseball somehow, coaching, strength and conditioning any way possible! I'm hitting a show in Detroit July 16. I'm getting pretty excited as all these shows are coming up for me to go to: My show Might do another show in VA, an NGA show The Ohio's The North Americans Natural Northern Mr. Canton

Cool, tell wifey I say hi. I guess my brain aint going after all. As long you put your mind to it I am sure you have the will and determination to play ball. Are you looking to make it on a triple a team next year? That would be a great start. As I saw you in the Mash I can tell you have will to do anything, since you looked damn good for your first show. Your plan on doing shows look VERY good.

Thanks CarlMAN! haha I don't think I'll play ball. I've talked with teh wife about pursuing a strength and Conditioning spot w/ a minor league team and making my way up. She asked, "Would you be TRULY happy if you were a Strength an dConditioning coach at the Pro level and a bodybuilder on the side?" I answere w/ a HELL YEAH! hahaha
Thanks for the compliments. I do have a lot of drive, that's no secret, but I had a lot of help from people like my wife, Troy Johnson, bodyfx and the old timer, BIG TIM! Tim was a HUGE help to me and I hope he knows that.

Hey thanks Kyle, but you sure don`t need my help anymore......you`ve definately come into your own.
Your physique just took off since I met you........you might not notice as much as I did,but you have made the swith from a good recreational bodybuilder,to a damn good competitive bodybuilder who poses a threat at any show he enters!!
Keep it up,the best is yet to come for you..........I think you can go really as far as you want to take it!! :Not Worthy Purple:

Tim, I honostly don't know what to say! ;D I'm HONORED that you would say that. Thank you very much. I'd love to take it to teh national level. It'll take me a while, but it'll be worth it. Your help and being able to talk and learn from you helped me through my hardest times, my hernia surgeries. You were also the one that convinced me to increase my carbs a little bit and opened me up to carb cycling! Thanks alot Tim! Keep it up,the best is yet to come for you..........I think you can go really as far as you want to take it!!
