Hi Massiv, since you doesnt seem to have difficulty to lose bodyweight (you seem to be undercaloric with or without this red meat!), i would not worry about the it. But if at a certain point you experiment the opposite, so not been able to lose enought bodyweight, i think you'll have to stay disciplined and forget about eating red meat until after your contest! It may seem bizarre, but I like your culpability ;D this is one of the best way to stay on track! I know it's difficult… but bodybuilding IS the most difficult sport since you HAVE to be 100% dedicated every minutes to achieve awesome results (at least, it's my humble opinion )! So keep planning and cooking your meals in advance if it helps you… but you must stictly fallow you game plan! Keep going Massiv! Mo

39 days and counting. Boy, day by day it is getting a little rougher. I am dedicated to the end result. I am just having a rough time at different times of the day with my hunger. The natty PB that Tim suggested works wonders, but sometimes that curves it for a short while. I can deal with the hunger, but it turns me very irritable. I am very short with some people. I feel bad for it and try to explain what I am doing and that my body is running on very little fuel. Well, you guys know what I mean. I conducted my posing practice last night and my wife walked in and told me that I really looked great. This is a woman that does not really understand what we do and thinks it is more self indulgence than anything else. Lately she has been changing her opinion. I think she has seen that it is more of a sacrifice and a strong inner desire to strive to be the best we can be. She states that she can not believe the transformation that I have went through in the last 6 weeks. I told her to hang on. The big show is just getting ready to start. Anyway. Diet is still right on. I am increasing cardio more than manipulating my carbs at this point. I am still achieving the results that I am desiring, so why change it? Every response I read just adds fuel to the fire. Keep them coming. I am gaining momentum daily and confidence is growing. Good day so far and I haven't killed anyone, so off we go on another successful day. I was 205 on Sunday. I will post what I weigh today prior to workout, but I think we are right on schedule. that leaves me about 6.5 pounds to make my goal weight in 6 weeks. Or a little less than 6 weeks I guess. I am averaging about 1 to 1.5 pounds per week. Sorry for rambling, I took a thermogenic about 30 minutes ago and it has me all screwed up.
Later,
Massiv

OK, I had to evaluate my conditioning last night. Coming along great, but there is still ALOT of work to do. I am far from where I would like to be on contest day. So suggestions on what to do from this point. Should I increase cardio or cut carbs even farther back. I already look like the walking dead. I am taking in about 100 grams of carbs per day in two meals. Breakfast and post workout. I don't want to drop to early and loose alot of size. I weighed in at 204 last night. Weight is dropping nice and slow. Should I worry at this stage or quit getting nervous and just continue on the course we have planned. Sorry, thermogenic on board and I am rambling again.

6 weeks to go… so 5 weeks to lose fat (considering that you'll focus on being full and dry during the last week)! You want to step on stage at about 198 (in fact, why 198, when you can be the heaviest Light Heavyweight at 195lbs?) so you need to lose approx 7 lbs in 5 weeks. In my mind it looks good, keep doing what you do, decreasing your carbs average when your bodyweight stagnate until you reach an average of 70g of carbs… after that, if you need to lose some more fat, increase the cardio.
Massiv, Any pics on your current condition?
Keep going!

Just the info that I was needing Intensity. Thank you. 35 more days and everything is coming out nicely. I am getting the cross cuts in my triceps and quads. Vascularity is increasing daily. I am truly amazed at how much of the transformation has increased day by day. Still have carbs at about 100 grams, but I am still losing bodyfat. So we will maintain this course until we hit the road block. Just like Intensity described. Really feeling confident and more focused than ever before. I feel that is all timing now. Now that the funeral is done, full steam ahead. This one is for DAD. Every ounce of strength I can manage to scrap up. I will need you guys to help, especially the closer it gets, I will definitely need some of you seasoned vets to carry me through this, but we are going to win this damn thing. ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pics are coming. I just have to figure how to post them. Excited for feed back. I am working on it. Noticed yesterday evening that I have extreme vascularity coming out in my abs. Bodyfat is going bye bye. still moving in an upward direction. Feeling pretty damn good this a.m. Getting ready to make the final adjustments to my carbs. Full steam ahead.

Pretty lathargic today. Just tired over the weekend's deal and I did stick to my diet like clockwork all weekend. It is my birthday tomorrow and the wife is asking if I can eat anything. I told her "yes I can". She ask what and I replied "the same thing that I have been eating-chicken". She just laughed. Trying to get geared up for the workout tonight.
