Damn this isn't easy. I've upped my calories dramatically to take advantage of the post show rebound and kept the food clean but eating a lot. Apporx. 400g carbs, 400g protein, minimal fat aside from a serving of almonds per day and what's in my meat.
With all this food. (Practically doubled daily intake) I've gained 26lbs and just now starting to add fat. I'm going to drop the carbs this week (3rd week after show), but I'm still absolutely starving! I can eat my meals and I'm hungry in 30 minutes. I'm adding greens in to try to fill me up with fiber and lower calories but it's not doing the trick. I know my appetite will slow in another couple weeks, but I'm to the point of insanity. LOL
What do ya'll do...just suffer?
Thanks Joe

What my trainer had me do was to eat MORE fat and less carbs post contest, that way my blood sugar didn't go crazy and crave everything in sight. For example I ate a crumbed fish fillet,guacamole-stuff like that.. You probably need to cut back on the starchy stuff particularly if its high on the glycemic index-go back to oats, brown rice, sweet potato, squash etc like you were having closer to show-also add a bit more essential fat into your diet-you are probably hungry because theres no fat to regulate your blood sugar spiking-add in some fish oil, avocado, nuts etc nad see how you go!

PIZZA............ 10 times a day!!! LOL ;D
Fats will provide a feeling of fullness(saiety).........also in your case Joe,I would try a fiber supplement such as Metamucil 2 times a day, plus lots of salads and veggies.
Both fiber and fat should help you feel full, as well as a mega-high water intake.
Other than that,if it doesn`t help, gotta` get stricter again unfortunately, as it would suck to add too much bodyfat.

I should clearify this is what I've been eating daily. I've had only two cheat meals each week since the show.
7:00 am 13 Egg Whites 2 Whole Eggs 2 Cups Oats ½ Medium Apple/1 Medium Banana
10:00 AM 2 ½ Scoops of Pure Whey 1 Cup Sweet Potato
1:00 AM 10 oz. Chicken Greens
4:00 AM 10 oz. Fish 1 Cup Brown Rice Greens
Pre Workout 1 Scoop Isopure 1 Scoop Vitargo
Post Workout 1 Ultramet (7:00PM) 1 Scoop Pure Whey 6 Cups Puff Rice
9:30 PM 10 oz Steak Greens
12:30-2 AM 2 Scoops Pure Whey 2 oz Almonds (unsalted)
Totals (approx) Protein 447g Carbs 401 g Fat 85g Calories 4242
I also must say you both have reaffirmed what I've thought. I'm going to drop some carbs and add some good fats.
Thanks guys

There is two differents Mo after every year's last contest: 1- The first Mo is the one that cant control himself for 3 days! Last years, a day after my last contest, i ate 4 meals at Mcdonald in that single day… plus 4 or 5 other nutritious meals like chips, chocolate or pizza! 2- The second Mo appears after those 3 days! I develop a huge culpability because i dont want to lose my contest shape so everything is back to normal and i eat clean and controled for almost the rest of the year… pathetic! ;D But to answer your question, what do i do, just suffer? Yes for a couple of days, after that the body gets use to it as for a pre contest diet!

True that Mo! I wanted everything, but kept to the diet shown except for the two meals following the show (dinner/breakfast) then back to the diet. To live is to suffer! LOL

When I was younger I would simply go berserk after a contest and eat everything in sight for a week! I once gained twenty pounds in seven days!
Now that I'm older I tend to keep things under control, I'll have a few treats after the show and the following day, by monday morning I find myself eating the same foods that I had been eating for the show. What normally happens with me is I'll gradually increase my caloric intake so it usually takes a few months to get smooth instead of days!
