been told that since I want to compete at the light heavy range that now is the time to have some posers made.
Darrel, Ben Pitre and others have suggested that since i'm somewhat <ahem> unendowed and short, thick waisted, that I go with a rio/brazilian cut.
I like that cut too.
Have any of our on-board competitors used thes? How hard are they to keep on and in place?
TIA

I wish I could help but I don't even know waht that style is? I can only say that black is a great color at helping the waist look smaller. I found out a little too late last time around. For me I love yellow but it did not work with my frame as well as a darker color would have. I tried on a pair of dark blue trunks and it did make a diff. onlyit was too late and the trunks were too big. This year i am sticking with black. As far as the cut....well I am lucky enough to have a local guy let me try on a pair or two to be sure it's what I want.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.

What company are you purchasing your suit through. I have had trunks from Andreas Cahling, from Bodybuilding.com, and this time around I am getting them from Jagware. The Cahling suits were expensive and fit very tight. The BB.com suit was much better from the front (I prefer a seam in the front), but the back was somewhat loose. I had my wife sew a small seem down the bottom portion of the asscrack. You couldn't see the seam, but it made the suit form fitting (perfect fit).

My first few contests, I used a black and dark red from BB.Com. The fit was good, normal cut. But... Being a "mature" bodybuilder, an due to my weight loss in 3 years, I have skin on my lower abs, that without a "tummy-tuck" just ain't going anywhere. SO.... I special ordered a suit from CJ's. I explained my dilemma to her, and she provided a suit like Arnold used to wear. A little higher in the front to help with the skin. I checked with all the judges before I ordered to ensure it was still acceptable, and it was. The suit helped a lot, not only with my look and body type, but with my confidence too. Hope that helped
