I have a friend who is doing the INBA Natural Olympia in Perth in 2 weeks and she is concerned about fluid retention whilst flying. She gets there on the Thursday night and the comp starts Sat morning. Do you think the excess fluid will come off in 24 hours or will she need to take in extra fluid to compensate for the effect of flying (its a 9 hour flight,Wellington to Auckland,Auckland to Melbourne,Melbourne to Perth) ?

I think she should up her water intake for 1 week prior to and during the flight, Then once she arrives, cut her intake, take saunas if possible, or othewise jog and pose a Lot. Wrap in Saran wrap the night before and sweat.
