Well it seems just a few days ago that I was just done with my last contest and now I am 6 weeks out. Far ahead of last years condition. I learned a volume from this board and I have been able to implement much of it this time around. Using a different diet aproach this time around. I practically starved myself to death last time. Went the last 6 weeks without even having a balve movement.(However you spell it). This time I am using a 2 low carb days, 2 moderate carb days and 1 high carb day. Very strict with it and it has really yeilded results. I am a little nervous about how quickly my body reacted to it. I am about 6.5 percent bodyfat right now and I am 6 weeks out. I trained and ate smart all off season. Never got more than 20 pounds over my target. I am at my target now, or within 3-5 pounds of it. Good size retention so far and becoming very shredded. Much more than last year. Night and day comparison. I have had many say that I am in better condition 6 weeks out this time, than the day of the contest last year. Still consuming about 300 grams of quality protien daily. Low carbs are at 81 grams, moderate is at 151 grams and high carb is about 350-400 grams. Consuming large amount s of water. Doing some of the tricks that Tim suggested with the natural peanut butter and salad to fill the gaps. Pretty excited, but nervous. Don't want to risk this one. Pretty big for me. Does it sound like I should stay on this course. I am at 197-200 pounds pretty consistant right now. I competed last year at 189 and was holding more bodyfat than I am currently. I really don't need to drop much more. It is just fine tuning now. God I am glad to be back on this board.
Yack at you guys and gals soon.
