Thanks for the invite Ski! It looks like a great board with a lot of input without the trash. I am a member at quite a few boards and although I may not post much, unless something really grinds my cork or I feel I can offer some constructive help I stay pretty low but I do tend to spend a lot of time reading. To succeed in bodybuilding you have to get educated and what better way to find out things then to read. When I first started bodybuilding I read everything I could get my hands on. I digest the information and then weigh it against common logic. If it seems to make sense in relation to how the body would react to a stimuli I'll give it a go. Of course with the internet there is soooooo much information out there that it can be hard to quantify what is fact and what is fiction. Use common sense in the end.
A little about myself.... I'm an old fart like Tim. I turned 50 last summer and plan on doing the 2006 Masters Nationals this year (I was going to do them last year but found out the 2006 Masters Nationals were not offered in 2005... duh).
I didn't start working out until I was 37 when my GF (now my wife) dragged me into the gym so we could spend more time together. She created a monster. I haven't looked back. Don't let anyone tell you you're too old to start.
I hope to meet many of you on our travels.

Thanks for welcome guys! Like I said, I'll be reading the board when I have the time and hope to learn and share some bodybuilding knowledge with you all. If you have any questions, I'm always open to honestly answering them the best I can.
This year I have stepped things up a notch so I'm excited to see what I can bring to the stage this time around. In all of my past shows I have done them drug free... this year I am trying out a few things differently.... nothing to wild, just a bump to help out an old guy.
