Thanks guys. I'll try to stick around this time. Those on bodyfx's board know things have been really crazy here and they aren'te really slowing down. Just an update, early fall my wife and I plan on building and in October I'm competing in 2 or 3 shows. After the fall season, I'm going to use my Christmas break to begin building our home gym. It will start small, but believe me, it will be amazing when we are completed. I'm turnin git into a fitness studio and starting a business entitled FITCorp (Focused Intense Training Corporations).

Congrats on the business/gym venture.
Also nice to see another person from Ohio.
What shows are you planning on doing in October? I am not always up to speed on the shows around and I honestly didn't know there were any in October at all.

Close to Michigan and Indiana. Actually, but about 40 minutes from Jeff Willet's home town. Anyhoo, in October there is: NPC Monster Mash in Cincy, ONBF Mr./Ms. Ohio in Columbus (Heath), NPC Natural Northern in Cleveland (Lakewood). There is also the Big Dust Classic which is NPC in Cincinatti. It's a good month to compete.

Are you going to be entering all the shows or just a couple?

haha, yeah my man I'm in the sticks brother. In fact, I live in front of a fish hatchery farm. haha. I am goin gto do 2-3 shows in a 4 week span. I'm definitely doing the Monster Mash, that's the one I want to win. I'm about 75% I'm doing the Natty Northern and about 90% I'm doing the ONBF Mr. Ohio. I have a very close friend that bodybuilds that lives in Canton. Not too far from you. He actually did the Mr. Canton in April.

I tried to keep the avatar as small as i could… this way nodody would be able to see the imperfections ;D hehe! As far as my 2006 contest season goes, it will end up in 8 days, on June 17th! I started the pre contest diet on mid december 2005 and did my first 2006 show on april 15th! So it has been a looong season, but i'm very happy with the results (Results of the placing: yes, but what in my mind, what is even more important, result of our progression!) Thanks for asking!

I went to this years show, it's "slightly" possible I would remember who it was. There was some good talent and some not so good. but it's a novice show that I am still trying to concure so go figure. Heck with the bodybuilding community seeming to ever shrink in this area it's possible I even know him. Good luck in the shows and maybe I will see you one at one of them rooting you on!! Sal

He did not place. He was a light heavy. Young guy, has great potential and even better work ethic, passion and drive. There was some good physiques there, but there were also som bloated guts and major major cases of gyno and even some synthol, which I was sad to see.

Since you were there - did you stay for the overall and if so what did you think? And did you think the winner deserved it, if not then who? Personally I could understand why they picked who they did but I would have agreed if they chose someone else.

Sal, I'll be honest, the guy that won was a Freak, but I'd have rather seen the very tall gentleman win. He had an amazing physique and it was aesthetic w/ great lines and amazing flow!

Couldn't agree with you more!!
I was backstage talking to him and he is just muscle on top of muscle. I can understand why the judges went the way they did but I would not have been surprised if things went better for Todd, the tall fellow.

I talked to the tall guy BRIEFLY and being 5'7" he freaking DWARFED me majorly! I really can't understand why he didn't win. He just looked so much better TO ME. Like I said teh winner was a FREAK!!! But I'm a fan of the more aesthetic look. My fav all time bb is Flex Wheeler and my fav now is probably Dugdale
