I'm sure most dont remember me, maybe you do Tim? I'm a 26 year old grad. student. I registered and posted here about 2 years ago. Soon afterwards I had was going through some difficult times, slipped back into depression and didn't post here, nor did I lift or take care of my body in those 2 years. Rather than gaining weight and getting phat, I've lost about all the muscle I worked hard to get. Going from 5'9" 175lbs lean to 140lbs.
It has been hard to start over, but at least this time I know what I need to do, and I have to remember to KEEP LIFTING and eating right despite going through difficult times. I'm making progress and adding 5-10lbs per week on all my lifts, and I'm starting to gain back some size.
I train hard and infrequent, at 2 days a week focusing on the major compound movements (squats, deads, push presses, BB rows, decline bench)., and am starting to do 10 minutes of intense cardio between those days to get my heart back in shape.
Good to be back, again it's been awhile but I look forward to posting and hearing your guys stories/tips.

Good for you on getting back to working out. I've been down the depression road myself and I know how much discipline it takes to get through that.... One day at a time is your best bet-good luck!

Thanks for the warm welcome. I know that if I can keep staying in shape as I go through my ups and downs I can reach new peaks. My attitude is better now.

I remember you (although I didn't post much then so you probably don't remember me!). Welcome back. I've been through a lot of crap in life myself and the one thing I've always held onto was the training. Don't let anybody take it away from you, including yourself!
