I've read the threads here for some time and have received good advice from Tim here, over at Mayhem and elsewhere. Thought it was about time to poke my head up out of the gopher hole. Thanks for the great info over the years.

Thanks Beckie, Tiffany, and Gerry for the kind regards. #woot4ho# I should have added more about myself. I'm not a bodybuilder, just a hobbyist. About 4 years ago I was 230lbs at +30% 2 year ago I was 155 with abs I'd never seen before #smileydidisaythat8ws# Currently: 40yrs 6'2, 187 at ~14% Obviously more muscular. As Kelly Bagget might say, I'm a prime skinny-fat ectomorph... but I don't get into labels like that much. I'm tall with a slight frame but can put on fat watching Homer Simpson eat a donut. Muscle growth comes but getting the diet just right to balance lean mass growth versus fat has been a challenge. For the last several months I've been recomping/culking... eating just below maintenance, timing carbs and hitting the gym 3x weekly with a fairly lengthy total-body routine. It's been the best for getting the mass on. The alternating days I hit the stair stepper, 25-30 minutes. To lose all the weight in the first place, I did daily fasted LISS first thing in the AM, lifted PM. Now with more mass, I appreciate that HIIT 3 days a week seems to be working along with the total-body lifting. I'll post a routine in training soon to get some feedback on how to maximize my work. Married but no kids so plenty of time to workout. #bpressingsmiley9yk# Business executive/desk job by day with a fair amount of travel. I guess that's about it... you'll have to bribe me if you want to know, oh, I don't know... my sign, hair color, shoe size...
