Hello everyone. My name is Don Johnson, go figure ;D. I just got my personal trainer diploma and I came here to join because I overheard that there are a lot of personal trainers over here. Knowledge and wisdom should be free so... be gentle. Don

#awelcomesmiley4jo# Great to have another PTrainer here!! At first I thought you were kidding about your name being Don Johnson...kind of like the movie office space where the guy's name was Michael Bolton, rather Don Johnson than Michael Bolton! ;D

Hey, talk about a warm welcome. LOL Kerrie. I want to start training people. The question is how to go about the place where I do it ? Should I join a gym and train only there OR go to gyms where my clients tell me to ? Don

Welcome Don, Depending on where you are located, sometimes getting clients right off the start is not that simple. Good luck to you

I'm from Delaware, PA. I really want some feedback as how some of you guys started training people. Roger, are you suggesting that for starters I join a gym and start bein a personal trainer there and after I gain my stride go solo ?

Welcome Don. I started out working for a gym, hated that so went solo and internet based. doing it that way is MUCH harder so if you want to get into the mix,I would suggest you try working for a gym,at least part time. Who did you get certified with?
