Tarzan, No he`s long retired. The photo of him woth Arnold was at the recent Arnold Classis where he probably sold photos and memorabilia.I still haven`t found out how tall he is but I`ll ask Jeff Preston,he`ll most likely have the answer.
Here`s a good write up on Oliva!
Born: July 4, 1941 - Guambaco, Cuba
Mr. Olympia 1967, 1968, 1969
Sergio Oliva, “The Myth”, was a member of the Cuban weightlifting team. While the squad was in Jamaica for the Pan American Games in 1962, Sergio defected and made his way to the United States, eventually taking up residence in Chicago. Once there, he became a police officer and briefly continued to compete in lifting events before concentrating on physique exclusively. After winning the IFBB Mr. World in 1966, Sergio entered the IFBB Mr. Olympia that same year but had to give ground to Larry Scott. After that, however, with his huge full muscle bellies, tiny joints, fine proportions and sensational mass, Sergio began to be thought of as unbeatable. Sergio won the IFBB Mr. Universe in 1967 and went on to sweep the IFBB Mr. Olympia titles in 1967, 1968 and 1969, beating Arnold Schwarzenegger for his victory in ‘69. Arnold turned the tide in 1970 though, beating Oliva as he would again in 1972. Following that defeat, Sergio did not compete under the IFBB banner again until 1984 when, at 43 years of age, he placed 8th at that year’s IFBB Mr. Olympia. He finished 8th again in 1985, and that marked the end of a career for a man who will always carry the enigmatic nickname of “The Myth”. Sergio still resides in Chicago.

He could be on juice ....but you never know! Some people just have great genetics, and obviously Serge does, and he`s been training steadily since the 1950`s . That`s a long time.

I agree bro. Those shot`s are from ads in the magazines in the mid-sixties. Here`s another one circa 1965,the guy was way ahead of his time.

TJ, i've seen a fair few Sergio pics thanks in no small part to iron age, but you've shown me a few new ones here.
That infamous pool cue picture is one of my favourite shots, i've never seen the 2 accompanying shots.
The picture with Casey shows just exactly why i love the Myth, obviously an awesome physique, but that style is unrivalled. I'll forgive him that horrendous wig he once sported! ;D

I "steal" most of my pics from Iron Age! ;D Where else would I go?
That pool cue shot has always been a favorite of mine too. I got the other pics that go with it from the "picture man" himself ,Jeff Preston.
Jeff has tons of great pics.
I hate guy`s who wear wigs, they always look like an animal died on their head!! ;D

Sergio battles the young guns at the 1985 Mr. Olympia. He still looks great for a guy in his 40`s!!

Joe Weider's first attempt at weight lifting. What a crook. Back on subject, Sergio looks PHENOMENAL! To do that sort of posing (arms up in the air) you have to have some serious mass or the effect will be gone. I agree that his tiny waistline and thick mass and proportion made him one of the world's best bodybuilders. Actually, though, in that pose down pic against Robbie Robinson I think "The Black Prince" looks better. He looks more defined.
