I have no idea who this is but he tears his bicep pulling this deadlift!! The amazing thing is that he completes the lift and then looks as if he suddenly realizes what happened to his arm!! Can you say OUCH ?? ;D

1960`s powerlifting legend George Frenn has squatted over 800 pounds but in this pic he dioes a mere 605 pounds. The catch......his leg is in a cast. Talk about determination!!

Looking at the first photo, I can think of few things more disturbing than grabbing your arm and realizing that your bicep is no longer where it's supposed to be...

Damn, I wonder how long that guy with the contorted leg was out for. That had to hurt and take a lot of rehabilatation.

It should be noted that Wilson had the bicep surgically reattached and, with his grip reversed to protect the injury, came back some time later to deadlift nearly as much as the weight that injured him. MANLY!!!!!

The 2 man deadlift is Eric Stuber (SHWT)on the left and Mark Challett(275er) on the right. I was standing just infront of them when this picture was taken. We all trained at Larry Pacifico's gym "The Power Elite Gym" in Vandalia, Ohio back in the early 80's. The weight was over 1400lbs and was the highest 2 man deadlift at the time! One day we drove to down town Dayton, stopped in a major intersection, blocked traffic, jumped out and they did their 2 man deadlift in the middle of the blocked intersection, with a local TV crew filming! It was a rush for all of us involved!!! www.joeladnier.com
