10/29/07 Legs {have not post anything for a while since all I am working is legs, todays felt pretty good so here it is} standing calf with 280lbs 4x8 with body weight calf raises 4x12 seated calf-210lbs 4x8 with tibialis raises 3x12 seated leg ex- warm up 140lbs 3x15 Smith machine squats 185lbs 10x10 HS seated leg curls 70lbs 10x10

Good to see you still going at it Rog!! I did 10x10 on squats today too......be ready to hurt tomorrow as the forecast calls for rain pain.

Randy& Tim thanks for the support, and words of encouragement. It really does help right now.I know this will make me better, but I feel so useless at times. Damn I love weight training & bodybuilding.

11-1-07 Warm-up on bike 5 min. warm up HS leg ex-25lbs 2x15 Hack squats-135lbs 2x15 185 1x12 225 1x10 315 2x8 405 1x6 butt blaster 150lbs 3x8 Med X leg curls 160lbs 3x10 Med X leg press [for calf] 140lbs left calf only 4x12 seated calves- body wt. +90lbs. 4x8 leg were still sore from last workout. going to have to put more days rest in between workouts

Training only legs isn't such a bad thing ... that'll create an anabolic environment for the whole body. Heal up and then you'll surprise yourself with how quickly you get back up to speed!

11/04/07 Leg Day Again seems like every time I turn around it is leg day. warm up on bike 7 min warm up Cybex leg ex- 70-1x15 90 2x15 leg press- 2 plates ea side-2x15 3-2x12 4-2x10 1- leg lunges ft on bench 2 sets to failure [no rest] worked calves or abs in between all exercises Abduction 70-2x12 Adduction 7o-1x12 90-1x15 Cybex seated leg curls- 70-1x12 90-1x12 110-1x10 Could not get into it so I just quit and came home. This to shall pass. I just wish it would hurry up.

11/07/07 Decided to try something a little different today warm up on bike 6 min. Standing calf body wt.+90/ss with shrugs on standing calf-2x12 " " bw+120 lbs2x12 " " bw+140lbs 2x10 crunches on bench 3x25/ neck raises w/10lbs plate on forehead decline board crunches lower ab 3x15 Smith machine front squats - 95lb 1x10 145 x10 195x10 245-2x10 Hs seated leg curls-45lbs 1x20 1x15 70lbs 2x10 Sunny's 4-mile walking class

Good workouts Roger. The majority of people would have just quit working out till their injury healed. You will see how fast everything comes back because you still trained what you could while you were healing.
I went through the same thing when I tore my Achilles tendon a few years ago. I trained what I could.

Thanks Eric, I printed off 3 new leg workouts off of this board today. One of yours , Hoopie and Tim's, they should keeep me on track. Going to hit one tomorrow. Have not figured out which one yet. They all look like they should kick my butt.
