I know I am going to get crap for this but:
I have obviously started my new diet, and as I am loading up on protein and such, I well..have got a lot of gas. Is their a way to curb it?

There are numerous things you can try bro: Beano Digestive Enzymes-suah as papaya pills Hydrochloic Acid tablets Eating raw fruit or veggies with each meal Yogurt-due to the active cultures it contains
Add food in a bit slower to give the body a chance to accomodate the increase thus avoiding "digestive overload" to quote Vince Gironda!!
:Double Puke: Sorry,couldn`t resist!!

Mo, you crack me up!! ;D Seriously though (if this topic could EVER be considered serious), I get a TON of sh*t (no pun intended) from my husband for this when I'm dieting and drinking a lot of protein shakes; mine are usually silent but very deadly....if I let one out in the grocery store he gets mad b/c he's sure everyone is blaming him, not me....hehehe..... :Moon: ...I keep telling him it's not my fault, I can't help it.....

Curry...an ingredient in it helps in protein gas.
I think some other spices does too.

I thought the chair I was sitting in, was going to walk out of the room and kill itself hehe You know, they do have those "flatulence pillows" that are supposed to absorb the smell....mostly for old ppl (not mentioning any board members hehe) but hey it would probably save the chair in your case!!

IF, Tell what your protein intake is like for the day, most likely your powder is sh*tty, to many fillers, finding a good powder is key and trust me after 25 years of this stuff it ain't easy, I take in up wards of 550-650 grams a day and I have no gas...
