Every time I get a cold,I get asthma,not the full on attacks but that horrid wheezy sound when I walk up lots of stairs...I sound like an old woman..not nice! Anyone else get it?

Asthma, thats my profession! Actually asthma doest come and go with a cold. When your getting your colds your most likely getting some bronchial inflamation with it. thus making you wheeze. Bronchodialators wont cure that like they do with acute asthma attacks. Could also be from some excess mucus from your cold in the airways causing you to wheeze.

Thanks hoop-yeah I noticed that with the inhaler too..One thing that does help though is burning essential oils especially eucalyptus,peppermint and the like-really clears out the airways.
