It is clearly a soft tissue injury like you said so apart from rest,a little compression(support) and some anti inflammatories,it sounds like its a time factor in healing. Try and lay off the really heavy weights and use your straps some more to take the pressure off. If none of that works and it gets worse then go back to yuor doctor and jump up and down until they do something....

Hey Mac long time no see... How've you been?
That's the thing Beckie, I havn't even been in the gym, hoping I'll speed up the recovery and be able to go back 100% but it's only getting worse!!! Feels bad today I'm so pissed off.
I'm so close to just going back to the gym and not giving a sh*t about it until the tendon snaps. Maybe then they will actually do something for me.
I've got these newgrip things now so I guess I'll try wearing the support. I'll also start taking some anti inflammitaries (didn't think it was bad enough before).
Going back to the physio monday week (earliest he could do).

I would really make a big fuss if its getting worse-one thing that always works for me is crying...not sure if you're game to try that though??

Try icing it Steve. If you catch the injury early its easy to treat.
Less than a week to see the physio now. Wrist feels OK after I stretch it... I need to get back in the gym soon or I'll go crazy lol.

Wish I could say the same Steve... No better really, I wish I was seeing the physio earlier... Only a few days to go now though.

For the past few days my wrist has been feeling pretty good.
In fact, after stretching it both ways, the pain is NON EXISTANT. How wierd is that... I thought this would be a gradual process.
Anyway I'm still going to see the physio so that I can get a recommendation as to how quickly I can start building back up in the gym.

Good stuff. My pain was non-existant as well, until i was squatting and the placement of my hand REALLY hurt my wrist.

Meeting with the physio went really well (sorry for late reply).
He said it looked pretty good and was pleased I didn't have much swelling and my grip felt strong and no pain.
I'm just doing some exersizes to build up the muscles in the wrist and forearm and I should be back in the gym for the new year!!!!
Soooo excited. I have retained much more muscle than I thought I would but I need to try to get back to where I was (slowly!).
Thankyou for your support guys.
