OK all you wanna be Doc's...what do ya think? Doing 800 lb. leg pressess (yea, that's right...800 lbs!) And on the first rep, my left calf, slightly off center to the right of the calf, cramped up. Of course, with all my common sense saying stop..I not only completed that set, but completed my whole workout, inlcuding calf raises! BUT...limping terribly now left calf feels like a serious charlie horse all the time. Soaked it in hot water in the bathtub, then applied Flexall (muscle relaxant). Other suggestions? If you want to bill me for medical advice, send it to Tim's Medicare!

thats the exact same area I have problems with Frank except it cramps in the middle of the night. I would actually suggest you ice it in case you have done any damage then gradually try and stretch it out. If you can get your wife to massage it gently that may also help.

Thanks Beck! Wife massaged it at the gym and again when we got home. Iced it and put on some "Icey Hot Patches " on it. Unfortunately, my wife said it looks like it's starting to swell, and I'm starting to have a hard time putting any weight on it Might have done a signficant tear I guess 800 lbs will do that to you. Keeping it elevated and trying to keep off of it. I DO NOT want to go to the emergency room on the weekend! Hoping it will be better in the morning.

It sounds like you have done it some damage Frank so I would head to the doc first thing Monday!
