Let me describe it.
Had tightness in my elbow for a few days nothing really painful figured tendinitis, then a couple days ago i'm looking more closely at it and I raised my are bending my elbow and examined the back of my forearm down by my elbow and theres a knot about half the size of a golfball just above my elbow on the lower forearm.
I've iced it down several times and its not as tight now but tonight I tried pushing on the knot and it felt like it popped back into somewhere. Could this be like something herniated? is there anything in my elbw joint like a disk that could have herniated maybe?

It sounds like you have popped/strained a tendon possibly,there are several that insert into the elbow joint from the forearms and upper arm...is the knot on the inside or outside of your elbow?
Either way I would continue to ice it and get it looked at...

Either way I would continue to ice it and get it looked at... Thanks Beck, the knot is right where the forearm attachs to the elbow , down low on the forearm still just above the elbow. I bought a elbow wrap that has an ice bag in it and am going to start wearing that , I have no doctor to see only thing I can do is go to emergency and i'm still able to function at work haven't been to the gym in 3 days now. I took 10 days off from the gym already and just barely got back now this happens maybe I over did it too soon coming back, guess so LOL, I think i'll be ok just OLD AGE creepin up on me

Think that i'll be ok I worked out today wore my elbow bandwrap thingy and kept it really tight then did chest routine , no pain so far and no swelling putting ice wrap back on for awhile.
The knot went way down still there though and elbow is tight around the joint.
So what you think guys could this be from some difficiency in my diet? or just to much icecream LOL
