Been taking this weight loss thing pretty slow but i'm making some ground finally, it ain't easy but I think i'll get used to it. I almost was up to a 46" wasit and said " THAT'S IT,, ENOUGH" and down to a 42" now hoping to take off a few more inchs in the next few months. Most people say I look even bigger then I was yet i'm alot leaner I'll post as my progress continues pictures don't do justice though wish I had some of my GUT a few months back it's gone WAY down llooked like I was a beer chugging fool not long ago

Thanks everyone way to kind not even close to the goal but Tim said it "one day at a time".
I get mad an i'm actually in therapy for it LoL, it just got out of hand and i've lost ever bit of serenity i've had, relationships going to hell over and over so I finally did something about it and joined a church with some group type therapy plus going to more AA/ NA meetings. I guess it's helping i have'nt had a melt down in a few weeks LoL so thats an improvement.
Plus the heat here in california has kicked up a notch or 2 or 10 ,,, MAN!!!! tough getting used to this at first and it really works on the nervous system.
I was amazed last night when examing my quads I could actually see some striations for the first time ever so that was cool ...!
Thanks for the props one and all

I'm still going last night I had a really good pump and am seeing striations in my shoulders now and wonderful separation between shoulder and upper arms and cut around the traps. Also am begining to get a nice feel on a six pack under a few inchs of softening fat FINALLY I knew it was their somewhere.
also lower tummy has gone way way down the pouch is just about gone but now I need a tummy tuck LOL now thats embarassing to even say.
i'll post some pics later once I feel a little better fighting allergys right now for the last 4-5 days and wracked with low energy.

Thanks Tim i'm gonna get this thing figured out eventually. Oh BTW couple days ago went in to do chest routine and just felt strong as hell so I got under the flat bench warmed up put 315 on and hit it 4 times thats a best for me. So even though i'm dieting I still have alot of strength which I was afraid I was going to lose. I have noticed if I take 4 BCAA's and protein shake and 200mg caffiene hour before going in I feel really strong during workouts but with the body temps up from this heat (well over 100 degress this last week) i have to only take 100mg caffiene otherwise i get overheated FAST I nearly passed out last week while doing intense DB press's. Thanks Again tim you guys all motivate me to do better then what I have been doing i've been a sloTH and i wont be that way anymore, PROMISS

Answer these questions for me, and I`ll try to throw something together for you,I will keep in mind that you are not looking to compete, but to just reduce bodyfat so it won`t be anything too drastic. Questions: Do you eat chicken, eggwhites, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, natural peanut butter? Could you tolerate a vinegar and olive oil dressing for salads? How about mustard as opposed to mayo? What type of legumes are you eating? Do you do a lot of cardio,if so,how much? Do you weigh and measure your food and count protein, carbs, and fat grams? How many meals do you eat per day? Whatever you`ve been doing is working which is great, but a few dietary changes could bring you to the next level in no time flat. Congrats on the weight loss thus far my friend......diet is definately the hardest part of this lifestyle.......waaaay harder than even the hardest workouts,as I`m sure you know. Thanks brother!!

Thanks for looking at this Tim i'll answer as best i can i'm not very regualr meaning not everyday is the same for me. I'm trying to get something normal going though, my diet and eating is not normal LOL, but it is improving. Do you eat chicken, eggwhites, sweet potatoes, oatmeal, natural peanut butter? Yes I make enough chicken to hold me for a week, there is always chicken in the fridge, I eat whole eggs I eat regular potatoes baked more then sweet potatoes but I can switch that up no problem, I have'nt been eating oatmeal but have 2 conatiners of it sitting on top the fridge and I eat skippy extra chunky peanut butter Could you tolerate a vinegar and olive oil dressing for salads? Yes i've been using it more lately. How about mustard as opposed to mayo? I could try . What type of legumes are you eating? Pinto, lentils, split pea Do you do a lot of cardio,if so,how much? None, my job can end up being a cardio workout sometimes I did try the spinning class the other day and lasted 4 minutes but I want to keep trying and build up. Do you weigh and measure your food and count protein, carbs, and fat grams? nope I was going to get a scale this next week though and start and I have been reading labels alot more so I know just how much of each nutrient i'm putting in my body per serving, i've basically just cut down on serving sizes mostly though. How many meals do you eat per day? I try to eat at least 4 -5 times a day

I changed the title Tim LOL
So i'm out fishing last night, thats when i'm usually really really bad I used to take huge candy bars large sticks of pepperoni sodas and all that crap instead i've been taking a few sandwichs and other healthy snacks.
My bud comes out with a pack of those reese's bites size candys and I had gotten myself hungry so I took a handful a BIG one and snarfed them down then immediately realized that it had been MONTHS since I had candy, god it tasted good but I stopped with that handful kept seeing that dang bag laying around still filled with candy but fought off the temptations LOLOLOL it was hard I love chocolate.
I just dont get it i've made DRAMATIC changess in my diet yet only lost a little weight guess maybe this is just an adjustment period?
I'll work on things Tim I am very serious about all of this, I do wish I had gotten my body fat read before starting I know its way way down I can feel the changes all over my body. Next time I go in the gym I will have someone check BF for me
