I'm about an hour outside of the GTA - Niagara Falls KARRIE Thank you!! Hopefully I will have a date by the end of this week I can start making arrangements for the kids. I am beginning to think I wont be able to save the tattoo, it looks like the incision is going to be right at the head guess I will just have to wait and see what happens. Frank and Hoops, thanks, thanks and did I say THANKS?!! Everyone here has been a great inspiration, helping me to keep focused on my recovery goals. I know I haven't made my way around the guy's journals too much ( I find the weights posted amazingly freakish ;D) but I will try to pop in more often, especially to cheer those of you preparing for upcoming comps.

Tiffy... Girl...focus on what you need to do! THAT alone is an inspiration to all of us. Don't worry about the tatoo either! They can do some really amazing things these days! When the time is right, you can have it tweaked just how you want! I'm about ready for another one on my upper back

Nice pics!!! Especially for all that you've been through with your back. My Dad has similar problems, but absolutely refuses any back surgery. Maybe your case will encourage him! Keep up the good work!!!

Nice pics!!! Especially for all that you've been through with your back. My Dad has similar problems, but absolutely refuses any back surgery. Maybe your case will encourage him! Keep up the good work!!! Thanks YB, i will definitely keep you posted on the surgery results. I guess because the first surgery was unavoidable, unless I wanted to be in a wheelchair paralyzed from the neck down (a piece of bone that had splintered off the spine had punctured my spinal cord), and because it was so successful, I have no hesitation about going through it a second time. Believe me though, I tried everything I could, chiro, physio, massage, I meditate and take natural herbs for pain management but when everything else stopped working and I realize surgery was my next option, I didn't settle for the family ortho, I made sure I was referred to one of the best spinal surgeons around. They have come a long way and I would rather take my chance with surgery then be in pain, limited to what I can do. I love life too much and want to share it with my kids and those I love to settle for spending the rest of my life watching from the side lines I know any kind of surgery is a risk, but I plan on coming through with flying colors and still living my dream of getting on stage and competing.
