Sal, Frank, Tim and Keith, thanks for the kind words and encouragement. Sal, I will see if I can convince Connor to take some more pics. That tattoo has a very special meaning - it represents my two boys (the sun and the star) and I am the moon watching over them. The three of us designed it together before I went in for my first spinal surgery and their symbols where chosen after their favorite songs I sang to them when they were babies

Wow Tiffany - you really look fantastic! GREAT arms. Did you say spinal surgery?? How long ago? I had a triple fusion at C3-C4-C5 October 2001 and am currently waiting for a date for another surgery. This time the L4-L5 will be fused with some additional work being done to the L3-L4 and the L5-S1. All injuries due to a car accident in September of 2001

My upper body is much leaner than the lower, however my triceps do tend to hang on to fat for dear life no matter what I do I wish I had pics from this summer before my back went on me, I was sitting at 136lb and about 12% bf. I have since put on 10 lbs and I can tell you, it is not muscle (not sure what my bf is at - afraid to have it done). Since I cannot weight train and intense cardio is out of the question, my diet plays a big part. I wasn't so good when I first had to stop training, hence the big weight gain, but now I have 2 no carb days (10g less), a carb reload day (300g) and the rest of the week I try to stick between 80-100g.

Like I said before though, looking good! I actually have very little pain in my neck any more (as long as I remember to do my stretches). I am hoping I have as much success with this one, I will be having it at the Trillium Center in Mississauga, the surgeon is one of the best and feels with his skills, the shape I am in and my determination to get back in the gym is a great combo. I have started a journal with my thoughts and preparations for surgery in the womens section, once I know a date I will post it and if anyone has any tips or ideas on how I can stay in shape - especially legs and abs without stressing the lower back - please, please share
