Deang, You really had it going on, on stage. What weight class did you compete at? I am doing my first show in two weeks. If I could look as good as you I would have it no problem. Welcome to this site there are a lot of great people here who have helped me a lot.

Welcome to this site there are a lot of great people here who have helped me a lot. Thanks for the compliments guys - Tim, Roger and Mrky3. Roger, I competed as a lightweight around the 140lbs mark, although the top 3 pics were 138 or 139lbs. I'm 5' 4" with bird joints All the best with your show, by the way. I remember my first show and it was a fantastic experience - surpassing all my expectations. I was on a high for days afterwards. Just soak up the atmosphere and take it all in because all the hard work is done and the day itself is to enjoy!

Just outstanding, Dean. Conditioning and symmetry are outstanding. Sure you had your reasons for retiring from the competitive arena, but you look terrific. Huge props.

Hey, thanks Gerry ... I very much enjoyed the experience while it lasted, but yes I have a stack of reasons for quitting that are hardly worth mentioning or bemoaning. I decided to move on and now have other things (family and career) to focus on

Appreciate the comments, Chanman - glad they've fired you up. Contest dieting is a lonely place to be, a very dark place ... keep driving forward! Cheers, Rubicon (Randy, isn't it?)
