Conditioning is spot on, if anything, you're early- careful you don't peak to soon.
Bring up them legs in the off season and you'll be really hard to beat- you are now for that matter.

I agree your conditioning is top notch, your in incredible shape for a natural show. Have your read the Texas Shredder's book? There is some interesting stuff like demand nutrition especially when dieting for a contest. In looking at your training your a machine ! Go for it. Holy Latman.

Excellent conditioning, Joel. Look about ready now! Agree with YB about not peaking too soon, and just a bit more sweep to legs.
You should do major damage. Good luck! ;D

Thanks for the feedback guys! I'm wondering if all the cardio I've been doing is taking size off my legs? I'm doing a lot more than in the past. I'm doing 30 min. treadmill really intense everyday. I'm thinking of cutting back to 15-20 of HITT.

Joel, you look incredible buddy..........this is your year!! #arockon6ha#
Cutting back on cardio as lean as you are is a good idea in my opinion, especially being so far ahead of the game..........if you see yourself fattening up at all,or smoothing out a bit which will probably not happen, just adjust accordingly by eating less, less carbs,or more cardio.
Stay on point, you`re gonna` kick some serious ass !
EDIT: Just wanted to add that it`s too bad there is no early contest for you because you are ready right now.

Thanks Tim, I feel pretty good about things at this point. I've been maintaining my weight at about 195-197lbs. for the last month or so. I feel like I could maintain my current condition indefinitely if I wanted to. I so used to eating the way that I do its almost a no brainer! I'm sure you know all about that! lol
I did a HIT cardio session on the recumbent bike after my workout this afternoon and I didn't feel nearly as drained. I'll stick with that until I feel like I need to do more.
BTW, you guys are a great source of inspiration and support here at WOTW!

Hey Joel, looks like everything's on target at 5 weeks. I think you're right to revert to HIT sessions for cardio, but personally I'd leave them in until about 2 weeks out, before dropping them and allowing the body to fill out a little. The tighter you get your legs (lower body fat) the bigger they will look, no question. You're looking very good at the moment, but there's still more to come out of the hamstrings, glutes and lower back area, just above the trunks. I reckon you'll be shrink wrapped in 5 weeks' time ... can't wait to see the next up date and top props for staying motivated and disciplined on the diet

Thanks Dean, I've gotten some good advice from a fellow competitor on how to effectively pose my hamstrings and really pull them out. Thats always been a problem area for me and it is very critical in how well you place in these shows. I believe it hurt me last year at the Natural Northern.
Thanks for the advice and feel free to let me know where I need to improve, its the only way to get better!
