For those of you who don't have any of the Muscletime DVD's let me tell you what to expect.
Their first installement showed a variety of different pros from off season to pre conest to in the room footage from the 2002-2003 season. All in all an interesting dvd.
Thier second installement was
Titans volume 1 Denis James
Then came their third installement much like the first.
With every dvd they came out with they have improved their technicqual aspects. Clearier picture and better editing.
Their next three installements are no exception.
They offer three dvd's for the price of 2. 3 dvd's for 79.95 which includes shipping, and they were all shot only 2 weeks out from the Olympia this year. Which means their editing and production time took only about 6 weeks.
Not to mention I recieved all 3 dvd's within 4 days of ordering (they came form Germany!)
On to the review.
Victor Martinez Titans Part 4
The footage was shot after Vics Show of Strength win.
I expected some intense workouts with moderate wieght being that the Olympia was 2 weeks away.
The video starts out with a leg workout, filmed at Victors gym.
We see Victor warming up with a different exercise, one which I've never seen done. He's standing up with one leg in the seated leg extension machine and he is pulling his knees up high. This exercise looks like it hits the thighs at a rather unique angle.
Leg extensions are next followed by squats in which Vic goes up to 495 lbs!
We see Vic handle some pretty heavy weights as he goes through a delt workout. Some heavy dumbell presses and other exercises as well.
his back and tricep workout is next. Vics back is incredible to say the least. Huge, wide and incredibly thick. I think you can loose your hand in the middle of his lats. His triceps are equally impressive. Big and thick and super detailed.
His chest work is also awe inspiring. 405 lbs bench press, great detail watching him doing flys.
Also some bicep workout wathcing them swell up doing preacher curls.
This dvd shows a full workout for every bodypart.
But also has some great extras
backstage action at the show of strength, comparisons with Darrem at the SOS, and his evening posing routine.
Clear dvd picture and good sound.
Then there is also footage from a photoshoot with per bernal and chris cormier.
The one thing that makes this dvd outstanding is Vic himself.
Vic is a different type of phyisque then what we have seen before. In a shirt he looks extremely huge with outstanding delts and wide lats. He takes the shirt off and your extremely impressed with that tiny waist.
He certainly is the perfect combination of size, freakiness, and aesthetics.
A totally new breed of muscle. His arms, as an example, are so big, yet they insert to such tiny joints they don't look real!!!
His back is so wide that you would think that his waist would be wider, but not so. How Vic got lats so thick on such a tiny waist is beyond me?!?!
The only way this dvd could be better would be if we saw a little of vics lifestyle, like where he lives or what he does outside of the gym.
This dvd gets a 4.5 out of 5
;D
