Good Morning, Well my shopping trip was a good..What woman doesn't love to shop Did go and by my first pair of running shorts..the kind i usually get are the ones that go to right above your knee but i have finally lost enough weight and firmed up my legs enough to where i look ok in the shorts. Guess what i found a half marathon to run and i have a lot of time to train very slowly for it. It's the Thunder Road Marathon. They have a marathon, half marathon and a 10k. So i'm going to sign up for it next week so that way i have to do it. Mo- The link looks lovely..i wish i could run that half marathon. Well i'm off to run. You all have a great day.. Vanessa

Vanessa, I have a few questions about your diet:
1) What is Ezekiel bread? 2) Do you scramble your egg whites? My husband does them in the microwave. 3) For your rice white or brown? I prefer white but I know brown is better for you

Hi Kari, Ezekiel bread is this all natural 100% whole grain bread you can find it at health food stores mostly. I found it at Food Lion a local grocery store. It's in the frozen foods. It's suppose to be better for you than regular whole wheat bread. I like the cinnamon raisin. I love white rice but now i just eat brown..i've got use to it I scramble my eggs...you know i have never tried to do them in the mirowave..i hope this doesn't sound stupid but how would i do that Vanessa

Hey I just realized your in SC. That is where I just moved from last year. Hubby is in the Coast Guard and we got transferred from my home state to California. I so miss my family and friends. Nothing like living in the south especially SC.

I honestly do not know how he microwaves his eggs, all I know is that my house SMELLS so bad that I try to have him make them at work, and I just scramble my egg whites. I tried something new this weekend. Usually i get up on the weekends have my oats a few cups of coofee..you know get comfy then before i know it it's 10am and i don't feel like going running. So when i was at the store the other day i bought a few protein bars and this morning i got up put on my running clothes and ate my protein bar while driving to the park. I think this is something i'll keep doing So i ran 6.22 miles this morning. I would have run father but i have already done my long run for this week. The last thing i want to do is hurt my heel again. You all have a great weekend Vanessa

My co-worker swears by it, she calls it a stability ball. I assume it is the same thing? Great diet! I am cutting now, only allowed 130 grams of carbs on training days and 70-75 on non training days. I am hungry all the time! I am starting to fantasize about eating a bagel.
