Its a neat commercial. Don't care for the implication of be finishing 2nd, but they did make their point.
But Sergio was awesome in the day and many felt he should have won in 72.
I remember reading about him coming up in the sport. Few realized how much of a hard worker he really was.
A typical day for him in the mid sixties was a 10 hour day in a butcher's shop cutting meat, then a 3-4 hour training session at the famous "Duncan YMCA"
The man was no stranger to hard work.
I met him in 1992 at the Arnold Classic. He looked ok, but as if his joints were bad. I asked if I culd get my picture with him and he said no problem. He was sitting, so I just knelt down and got the pic. A super super nice guy. Everyone seemed to respect and love him.
