I don't have a calculator Tim. Nothing near your poundage anywhere. You could easily squat the above for about 8 reps or so.
150kg is 330 pounds so 5kg is 12.5 pounds = 342.5 pounds or there abouts.

what suit?
you need a wider stance, increased back arch, and once you get out of the rack and get the squat command, you need to squat. that time with the bar on your back is just wasted energy.

A kilo is 2.2 pounds Tim. The squat looks great. Great form and depth. In power lifting you could lift a lot more if you took a wide stance and placed the bar low on your traps. Also a "legal" squat in powerlifting is actually pretty shallow. Your doing an Olympic type squat. If you squatted less deep you could add a lot of weight.
I would keep the form you use because it's harder. You get what you pay for in lifting. Olympic squats are very tough.

Thanks Oldtimer,
Today i'd be lucky to squat over 242 pounds let alone what i did there.
I have a knee injury at the moment which means no squatting for 6 - 12 months+. Not until i have my surgery.

How did you hurt your knee? It sounds serious considering the surgery.

Not sure how i hurt my knee but it may be that i might have to get my right knee drained of fluid i think but thats not guarenteed as of yet. It will take me 6 months to a year before i can get someone to see what's wrong with my knee and longer if i need to be operated on.
I can't afford to go private.

I'm going to blurt this out: I'm happy I don't see posts like this anymore. Everytime someone posted ANYTHING regarding training, this guy always came back with something similar to what is posted above. Why not just shut up, or just say "Good job?" Anyway, nice squat there RF! :bravo:

Thanks YoungBlood
But that guy is right about one thing. I did waste too much energy standing there for so long. I should have took a deep breath and just squatted instead of spending so long standing in the one position with that much weight on my shoulders.

Youngblood, Why the hostility? Sorry I didn't read all the prior posts.
The only thing similar to the prior post is to squat with the bar low on your traps and a wider stance. That's powerlifting 101.
Since you feel I repeat what others have said I will no longer post on this site. Your a moderator and you clearly stated how you feel about my contributions. I won't aggravate you further. I wouldn't want to hurt your feelings or any one elses.

It was towards Bedz, and that is the reason I quoted his post, so others would know that it was to be directed at Bedz. My hostility was due to just what I said- I could say that I feel X was good, and Bedz would always respond back saying "No Y is better." It became a pattern, and I noticed that he was gone the other day (may just be reading posts instead of posting them?). It was tiresome. I'm not clear on a few things about your post. But I apologize for the misunderstanding here. Please continue posting, as I have no problem with you. Last, and once again, it was Bedz I was referring to.
