wow...that does look really good.
I have a question however. Is it just how the bodybuilders do the exercises ...or becomes a change in "times" in the sport...
I seem to notice that alot of the oldschool bodybuilders don't have that traps/rod/erectors running down their upper backs when doing a lat spread or back double bicep compared to today's bodybuilders.

Some guys just don't have that look, due to genetics. Others, it's their choice of exercises, for whatever reason. One might have a slipped disc, so the rowing/thickness movements are restricted to machine rows i.e. no deadlifts. Traps, myself, hated the high trap look. Overdeveloped traps make your shoulders look narrow and destract the width from your shoulder girdle. However, todays guys-this is just one theory-are one such higher doses of juice that the traps grow huge. This is a combo of things, one being genetics for big traps, and the other being that there are a lot of receptors in the traps so they grow moreso than other muscles. As well, it depends on the era. The days of Sergio and Arnold, size was king. Days of Frank Zane, a smaller, streamlined look was in. Not as much thickness. Then came guys like Bannout, who had both but couldn't nail his conditioning. And then, some of it just boils down to just laziness.

Cool! I remember watching that contest and seeing Frances doing that routine on ESPN back in the day! What year was that? Sometime in the mid 80's I think? Outstanding posing routine!

Good video and the fact that this guy recently had a comeback and looks better and more massive than years ago is really motivating.
