I added a poll- you can choose TWO so that you can also tick whether or not you use micronized creatine.
Who here is using mono? Just curious- I'm thinking about putting it into the mix during my mass phase.

I don't use it because I'm not allowed to but I know from my research and reading alot of journals that its the only scientifically proven form of creatine..so I'd say give it a go!

I should add- this isn't about whether it works, I believe in Mono- just curious as to who is using it. I'd imagine many don't while cutting up for contests.

Actually quite a few bodybuilders I know use it right through their cutting cycle and taper it out the last week-10 days before a show. Monohydrate doesn't cause the bloating and fluid retention that original forms did so theres no reason why anyone shouldn't continue to use it.

Just caught this thread, yes I use it. I've used it religiously for over 10 years. I concider it a must and I use it right up to and on the day of a contest. Definitely the gold standard of supplements.

Tried it a few years back, did not do much for me, have not used it since. I know it does work well for most.

I have tried a lot of different creatines out there and the best one I have run across is Scitrex German Micronized Creatine. Do a search on it. The stuff is amazing.
Be very careful with how long you stay on creatine. It is notorious for contributing to muscle tears. I tore my quad twice in a month because I was on it too long. I would cycle it 6 weeks on and 4 weeks off to be safe and make sure to drink plenty of water.
