A friend told me about this site today, and I think I'm going to like it.
I'm a 46 old police officer just trying to stay in shape. I just had surgery on my second bicep tear last Thursday. 1st time was my left bi and this time its my right bi, so hopefully I'm all good now.
I look forward to gain some knowledge from this board.
Thanks to all.............G

Be sure to connect with Frank here/rehab who just shredded his bicep a while back. This is a great site of mature and thoughtful (and fun!) bb'ers and amateurs/hobbyists. Great attitudes. Good luck with rehab- I hope you'll also start a journal.

Thank's for the warm welcome. I just want to get this soft cast off next Thursday and start my PT. I pretty much know what to expect since its only been since Aug 2007 when I tore my last bicep.

Yeah 03 thats where we go also, and were about 3 hours north near the Mississippi line. I went to the training room today to ask if I could start running, and the trainer wanted to take all my wrappings off and have a look. I could not belive how good my arm felt when he took my brace off. last year when he took it off my arm hurt bad without the support of the brace.
They said I did not need to start yet because the sweat might cause some infection it being wrapped like it is.
So mrbeefy dont slack on me because I off to one good start. I ask why this one was going so much better and thay said the last one when it tore it had bone connected to the tendon and it went way up into my arm, and this one stopped at my elbow.

No slackin' now!!!! There ain't no cast on those legs...keep em working!
My PT told me to walk and do as much cardio as I was comfortable with to keep a good blood flow going, and that would assist in heeling.
Glad the arm fells good wo the cast. You're on your way now!!!

I'll be down there on Labor day week. Sounds like you're going to heal nicely. Thats a nasty injury!
