I've been using a scoop of whey isolate/6g BCAA's/5g L-glutimine/5g creatine/15-20g of dextrose pre and post workout. Plus another 6g. BCAA's/5g glutimine before cardio.
Does this look about right? I not really sure what the optimum dosage for BCAA's and glutimine are. Plus some people say not to mix glutimine with anything else. My main goal is to preserve lean mass while I'm dieting and these are the basic supplements that have research behind them.

Joel when do you do cardio? In the morning? If so, I'd say that the way you supplement yourself looks right to me!
If cardio is NOT done in the morning, I'd suggest you to have the BCAA's and Glutamine in the morning instead of pre-cardio because as you know, at that time of the day, your body is in a catabolic state!
As for the amount, between 15g and 20g per day is usually optimal for a bodybuilder your size in a pre-contest diet.

Thanks Mo, I'll add the BCAA's and glutimine first thing in the morning. I've been doing cardio post workout but I take the BCAA's and glutimine right before and again right after.

I think you know what I'm about to say, but I'll say it anyway! ;D
Drop the isolate, and instead use EAA's. Less competition, as well as bloating from the full protein (isolate).
Most people bag on Milos' methods, but his shakes are the way to go pre-, -intra-, and post-workout.
The one thing that you should get used to, should you give them a try, is SIP the drink not gulp it down. You won't get sick or vomit mid-squat if you sip on them.
As a personal preference, I'd drop the dextrose too. Especially if you're dieting. When dieting you want to burn fat, right? So why throw in dextrose which will be used as energy instead of fat?!?!

I usually drink my BCAA's all day, including during training. I get my creatine from my pre workout Vaso Charge.
