Creatine is good dieting or not.
I think the only time creatine is not good, is when you're trying to shed water.
Its been known that creatine may draw water into the muscle and volumize it. Joints not so sure.

Hi and welcome Chris, I'd say there is no specific time for using creatine! Just remember that you'll have better results if you cycle it (for example, 2-3 months "on" and 2-3 months "off"). For sure if you combine creatine with a mass builder diet, you'll have an optimal benefit from Creatine (strength and size)... but if you throw in creatine while on a low carbs diet, you'll have the advantage of reducing the possible strength lost! So it's for you to decide what's your priorities... Max, Monohydrate creatine is known for intracellular water retention, but not water under the skin, so I would not mind with it even when trying to shed water. But shhh it's my secret Mo

I meant it might be dangerous because of the "limited water" one would drink like 1 week before contest.

I meant it might be dangerous because of the "limited water" one would drink like 1 week before contest. Should not be limitng water one week before a contest. These are actually the highest water intake days. Water limiting only takes place two days before a contest and it isn't typically low enough to cause any problems.
