which one do you guys do?
I tried both. I can't go as heavy on straight leg deadlift.
I also feel straightleg deadlift is more dangerous.....it feels like i can easily tear my hamstrings.

Straight Leg Deads are a great exercise, but not one I do too often, nor too heavy.
I superset them with either:
seated leg curls Glute/ham hypers good mornings
or
Leg extensions
Just make sure your form is "right-on", and take your time concentrating on the movement.
NOT a hurry-up exercise!
